Ozette Makah potatoes are easy to grow and wonderful producers. They are considered fingerling potatoes and although they are smaller than your average potato they make up for it in yield and flavor.  In our opinion these potatoes are best roasted. 

These potatoes were originally grown by the native Makah tribe as a cash crop here on the Olympic Peninsula.

Slippery Stump Farm is located on Washington's Olympic Peninsula near the famous Pacific Northwest rainforests. Our potatoes are grown in naturally sandy and well draining soil, improved with only organic practices. Although we are not certified organic, no pesticides or synthetic fertilizers are used on our farm. We plant and harvest these potatoes by hand, honoring the methods used by our ancestors.
